Prototype
The prototype serves as a tangible representation to validate the engineering drawings, often termed the “Physical samples.” Typically one or two in number, these prototypes usually appear as white, non-colored frames.
Color Samples
Color samples, or PS (Photo Samples), finalize eyewear hues. Lighting and screens can vary colors, so we pair with Pantone references. For precision, physical samples are advised. Models often feature 3-4 shades, with two samples each.
Commercial Sample
Commercial samples (CS) are for business showcases. Essential for events like exhibitions, they’re sent from manufacturers to buyers. Typically, 2 units per SKU are provided, though some situations might demand more.
Sales Sample
Sales samples (SS) are like trial orders, with usually 165 units per SKU. They gauge market reaction and production quality. Post-approval, 5 units per SKU are sealed for bulk production. Small orders might bypass this phase.

What you need to know to choose a glasses frame
When you choose eyeglass frames, you not only pay attention to the problem of aesthetics, I tell you, in fact, the optical performance parameters of eyeglass frames are very important for the comfort of consumers wearing eyeglasses.
First of all, the size of the geometric center of the frame is close to the pupil distance of both eyes
Taking into account that the blank of the lens must move to the center of the cutting edge to be mounted on the frame in front of the eye, the position of the pupil is good to the geometric center of the frame, less than 4 to 10 mm. 3、Frameless.
This kind of frame has no mirror ring, only metal nose bridge and metal mirror feet, the lens and the nose bridge and the mirror feet are directly connected with screws, usually to punch holes in the lens. Rimless frames are lighter and more fashionable than ordinary frames, but slightly less strong.
4. Eyebrow frame

3.Nose deformation:The frame of the lens should not be cracked after 5N pressure pattern, and the distance between the geometric center of the frame and the original state should not be deformed more than 2%.
4. Clamping force of the lens:After the test of 5N pressure, both lenses are not completely or partially detached from the circle line.
5. Fatigue resistance:The frame should be free of cracking after 500 rotations, deformation not exceeding 5mm, and the legs cannot be opened and closed easily with fingers.
6. Sweat resistance: after sweat test, there should be no corrosion point or discoloration and coating corrosion, flaking or peeling.
7, flame retardant: one end of the bar (at least 50mm) heated to 650 ℃ ± 10 ℃, 20mm from the hot end point of the temperature measurement. The hot end face of the bar (face vertically downward) affixed to the surface of the test frame 5s ± 0.5s, then remove the steel surface, remove the heating bar (650 ℃ ± 10 ℃), the frame can not continue to burn.
